Opened in early November 2022, STS Aviation Services’ aircraft base maintenance facility in Manchester, United Kingdom, features 245,522 sq. ft. of working space. It boasts extensive front and rear access doors measuring approximately 21m high, enabling full 360-degree hangar circulation and direct runway access.
The hangar can accommodate six narrow-body aircraft simultaneously, with main hangar dimensions of approximately 100m wide by 126m in length. Externally, the facility includes two aprons, one in front and one behind the hangar.
Additionally, the facility houses a modern, three-story HQ center of operations with ancillary staff facilities and specialized workspaces. Located on the western edge of Manchester Airport, the busiest regional airport in the UK outside of London, our facility is strategically positioned for optimal accessibility.

Our state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance facility in Birmingham boasts 200,000 sq. ft. of total space, including ramp area, and has the capacity to service wide-body aircraft. The facility can accommodate two wide-body aircraft or ten narrow-body aircraft simultaneously. Additionally, the complex houses several on-site component repair and back shops, making it a true nose-to-tail MRO service facility. It features vertical lift storage devices, a global reporting room, and numerous laptop mobility hubs.
